Pink My Ride ...

For this week's Sunday Challenge, for which the theme was metal.

This is one of two metal 'bikes' attached onto the fence that surrounds the car park for The Royal George in Morton-on-Swale, North Yorkshire, which is a small village a few miles from Northallerton. I'm guessing they were put up to show support for the Tour de Yorkshire.

Not real bikes, although from a distance you might think they were!

It's brilliant! And just imagine a small engine added on and you have a French 1950s/60s. mobylette. I used to phut-phut-phut around on one of them as a teenager in the South of France in the early 70s!!

Seriously, I'm glad you like it although unless you're very, very small you'd struggle to get on this one and you might want to think about fitting some rubber tyres too, but hey, don't let me hold you back! :)

Glad you like it Keith. Interestingly as it was a fixed and almost 2-dimensional object there was little I could do in the way of composition. All I could do was 'point and shoot' making it one of my fastest takes! ;)
