*sighhhhhhhh* I think I will just drool happily and roll around in joy...oh, isn't this just DELICIOUS to see, Anna! Thank you so much for processing this video and putting it up for all of us to enjoy. I especially love this so very much, as I am CRAZY about heavy breeds and "beefcakes" that are so commonplace in Europe but not in the United States. This is changing as popularity for these incredible animals has gained favor, but to see this concentration is so very special. I don't know if I related the story about the time my oldest brother got married in Dusseldorf, to a lady he met when he was touring with the heavy metal band he played guitar in. My father and I flew there for the simple city hall ceremony with just the four of us, and then later there was a gigantic bash at a hof-brau that would fit the masses of people to celebrate this day. Of all days, it was my birthday, 9/29! ANYWAY, the following day, Doug's new wife, she had a good friend who loved horses and this lady took me into Holland where there was an international animal show. We just don't have things like that in the US and I couldn't believe it!! All manner of dog, cat, small animal, bird, and HORSE breeds were exhibited and shown all day long and I stumbled about in a daze, taking it all in. The sheer number of unusual breeds not seen in the US was staggering! So MANY gorgeous, uncommon-to-the-US animals which I got to pet and drool at, and to see in demonstrations too. At that time (I was about 27 yrs old, now 57!) these breeds were not at all in the US. I had only seen them in pictures--I collected horse breed books--and to see them in the flesh. My brother's wife had no idea what a priceless gift this day would mean to me. Gina's friend was so awesome to take me, and in fact, she took me to an Arabian show the following day, where again, the concentration of Arabian types more typical to Europe was just incredible for me to see. What a time. I would love to have the chance to see something like this again some day. Thank you for this beautiful video and for all the memories you brought back for me to enjoy again!

Dear Janet, I am extremely pleased that I was able to give you such a great pleasure !! Your message naturally sparked memories in me too.
When I was in the US for the last time in 2012. My brother, who lives in Leacy, WA, took me to see a friend who breeds horses. And there was a show there too. I like horses - but actually only at a distance - I have a lot of respect.
There I took a number of photos of the horses. They are very elegant and beautiful.

of which I took quite a few photos, quite close after the demonstrations.
Some of these horses have infinitely long tails which, when they are galloping, waft after them like a silk veil.
This stud seems to be famous for its Arabs.
