Die Alpen-Soldanelle oder Alpentroddelblume (Soldanella alpina) kommt schwerpunktmäßig in den Alpen vor; in den Kalkalpen ist sie häufig. Sie benötigt kalkhaltigen oder wenigstens basenreichen, feucht-nassen, humusreichen, steinigen, meist schneebedeckten Boden.
Die violette Blütenkrone ist 10 bis 15 Millimeter lang. (WiKi)
