Studied at Stern Conservatoire in Berlin with Jenny Meyer and Desiree Artot .Debut at Kroll opera as Azucena “Il Trovatore” by Verdi in 1884 , and moved to the Berlin Staatsoper the same year and remained until 1920.Created Magdalena in “Der Evangelimann” by Kiemzel.She sang heodias in the Berlin premiere of ‘Salome” by Strauss in 1906 .From 1886-1890 she also sang at Hamburg opera,She made guest appearances at Vienna in 1891 and at the Metropolitan New york 1890-1891 season .Her roles included Fides ‘ Le Prophete” , Amneris ‘Aida” , Azucena ‘Il Trovatore” amd Herodias “Salome”
