Studied St Petersburg Conservatoire .Debut Marinsky theatre 1906. Sang at La Scala Milan as Brunnhilde “Die Walkure” by Wagner in 1909 . In 1911 she was performing at Theatre des Champs Elyses in Paris as Tatiana in “Eugene Onegin” by Tchaikovsky and 1917 at Monte carlo opera as Tamara in “The Demon” by Rubenstein , Her roles included Valentine “Les Huguenots” , Tatiana “Eugene Onegin”, Elsa “Lohengrin” , Brunnhilde “Die Walkure” , Tamara in “The Demon” and Gorislava “Ruslan and Lyudmila
