Greek tenor
He studied singing at the Conservatory in Athens He conducted the Choir in 1888 in Xyndas' opera “ O ypopsifios” ("The Candidate" ).Soon after he appeared in Lambelets “Komidyllio”(“ The Miller ") and sang the role of Daniel Donizetti's opera “Betly, o La Capanna Svizzera “In the following years he expanded his repertoire to include more bel canto operas –Partien “Pavlos Carrers“ Donizetti and Belmonte in Mozart's ,“Abduction „. He went on long tours to the then Greek-speaking world (including Alexandria, Cairo, Smyrna, Constantinople Opel, several cities in Romania) but also Marseille and Trieste .When the tour was canceled in 1890 in Odessa, the Greek communities of Odessa and Bucharest financed his stay in Milan to further vocal studies. With Felice Pozzi as a teacher . Debut at Teatro La Fenice in Venice in December 1890 as Alvaro in Verdi's “La forza del destino “ He had a extraordinary career as a spinto tenor founded in Italy, mainly in parts of Verdi and Puccini , but also sang (Werther , Faust , Carmen) and Lohengrin . Foreign engagements have taken him to the theater in Odessa, Monte Carlo and Paris, rarely in his hometown of Athens
