Moon, stars and northern lights

A comparatively calm Barents Sea between Båtsfjord and Berlevåg. There was still enough swell that I had to keep the shutter speeds as short as possible and yet got plenty of photos with stars not as dots but as stripes and zigzags;-) This is one of the better efforts.

Back from holiday but will take some time catching up.

The red lights are from a wind farm, every village up there has one.

Yes, I just couldn't resist when the Norwegian Hurtigruten site offered single tilbud! The southbound journey had the weather I had hoped for, the northound one was very wet and much too warm for the season- but utterly relaxing;-)

Yes, sadly climate change is affecting all parts of the world. There was a warm front that lead to temperatures of up to +8-9°C, totally crazy! Back home it was colder;-)
