Dabei ist es um ihn ja noch sehr viel schlechter bestellt...

It's amazing what lengths the landed gentry went to get an interesting view. Is that a field of rapeseed I see? It can't have done your hay fever much good. ;-)

Thank you so much, Amelia! Yes, it's rapeseed. I didn't have too many problems with hay fever, the trees had finished shedding pollen and the grasses were only about to start.

That's a superb view of the oilseed rape field across the gardens it stands out beautifully under the grey sky and the folly makes a great point of interest. I like the vibrant greens in the foreground as well.

The first PiP is gorgeous..............there's no shortage of leading lines here and some very nice light too.

The second PiP.............is beautifully sharp and detailed, especially all the lichen on the statue.
