ssm - Marshall

Marshall [general purpose] Built 26th June 1927, Maker'sNo. 83600 RegNo. VF 3665
Single cylinder, slide valve 7hp weight 10.5 tons, winch on nearside rear wheel.
Generally used for threshing and other farm work.
Bought for £180 in 1958 by Wesley Key, as the "full turn-out" ... driven the nine miles back home, towing the drum [thresher] and the elevator. {bet that was popular with other road users ! it would be a nightmare these days} Last taxed in September 1963 for the huge sum of £2 10/- [£2.50 in today's figures, but not the amount applicable now]
