ssm - Marshall Roller


Marshall Roller, "Jolly Joyce" built 1929. single cylinder, piston valve develops 6hp.
Maker's No. 83270 RegNo. VH 1261.
These were often sold as "convertibles" with a set of engine wheels as an optional extra. She is still fitted with the original scarifiers, the big spikes were dragged along to break up the surface which could then be shovelled level and then rolled to re-consolidate the surface.
Into preservation in Suffolk during1966, and purchased by James Key in 1982.
