clch - global deforestation [1990 - 2020]

The rate at which area has been lost to deforestation globally, have decreased in the past decade [2010 - 2020] but even so, the loss is still significant in ecological and environmental terms.
This loss is not just of tropical rain forest but also of temperate deciduous woodland and higher latitude coniferous forests.
