Springtime beauty

Springtime beauty
Taken on 4 May 2013, when I was out for the day with a group of friends, looking for birds east of the city. One of our stops was at Chestermere Lake, where we noticed a sprinkling of these beautiful Prairie Crocuses growing. These were the first ones I had seen this spring, so it always feels good.
