Spring really is here

I was out on a three-hour walk yesterday morning, from Bankside to Mallard Point in Fish Creek Park, when a photographer friend handed me this tiny Nanking Cherry flower, thinking I might like to take a macro shot of it. Thanks, Ian! This is proving to be a different kind of spring for me. Usually, I would have taken photos of all sorts of wildflowers by now, but my focus has been on birds and animals, thanks to so many wonderful chances.
