A change from on a fence post

A beautiful WIlson's Snipe seen yesterday, May 27th, when seven of us covered the Priddis area SW of the city for the annual, provincial May Species Count. As well as this Snipe, we saw 64 other bird species, so It was a good day. Usually when see a Snipe, it is perched on a fence post, but this time it was down amongst the grasses at the edge of a wetland.
