Birthday Party Gang

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: OUR GANG (Kids gathered in a group portrait)
On the way home from vacation, we stopped at a real old junk store in Newport, New Hampshire. Amongst thousand of junky items I spied a box marked FREE on the checkout counter with some really cool vintage photos - so I picked out a bunch.
This was one of quite a few taken by a man who worked for some years at the town newspaper, and then opened a print shop, where he apparently worked for many years.
I would guess this is mid to late 1950s, early 1960s.
The photographer's name (written in pencil on the back) is William Patten. The birthday girl is the second girl to the right of the three little girls on the left front. She had a thin, dark bow around her neck and is standing next to the very blonde boy.

Anyway, I think it's quite possible that it's actually early 60s (looking mostly at the girls' dresses) so I think I'll broaden it to that date.
Thank you!
