A difficult theme for me, but I did find these two photos with license plate numbers showing - even if they are only partially visible.
This is my brother Nicholas at 13. Taken in Fairfield, Connecticut, 1969.
Below is my mother and aunt, taken in Virginia in 1965, shortly before the brakes failed on the car - although we had come off the blue ridge mountains by then.

Yes, that's a camping trailer. I think they were (are?) called "pop-up" trailers.
