Hammock Ladies

Hammock Ladies
Posted for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "Swings or Hammocks".
The background outhouse would have fit into the "backyard buildings" one, too.
This is a glass plate negative. I bought it in East Middlebury, Vermont, but the dealer thought this (and the others in the box) had come from an estate sale in Connecticut.

So much to enjoy here! What I like the most is the contrast of the facial expressions and body language of the two women; one relaxed and comfortable and the other clearly uncomfortable with the scene...she would have been my date. :) Great find.
