Hi folks - a late addition to last week's Vintage Photos Theme Park pool.
It's been a rough few weeks with my husband having to be in hospital - where he still is.
I wanted you all to know that I have not disappeared, and will post when I can.

So sorry to learn that Brian is in the hospital. Sending my wishes for a speedy and full recovery. P.S. Love your "Fish of the Month" photo.

Oh, yes, very sorry to hear about your husband, Deborah!

I think yours would have to take first prize by itself--I've never seen a fish-shaped mask, it shows a cute kid with a wonderful array of photos on the wall, and to top things off it has a "poisson d'avril" (French April Fools) greeting dated 1911! Wonderful!

Well, "poisson d'avril" is yet another nifty piece of trivia to tuck away for a rainy day. Thanks! Surely, you must be a former "Jeopardy" champion.

Thanks for your kind words, friends. His diagnosis has just been changed - again! Pretty frustrating, but trying to be thankful for the fact that he is holding is own.
And thank you for the nice compliments on the photo. Sadly, I can never look at this without wanting to kick myself for passing up a photo in the shape of a lobster!! What was I thinking??
I'll bet that you all have "why did I pass that up" stories, too.,

Oh Deborah, I'm so sorry to hear this! I can only imagine the stress you're going through. I sure hope he'll be well soon, and hope your kids and grandkids are nearby to offer aid.

Thanks, Ellie. Most of the boys live nearby, and my son in California might be coming out next week, so we feel lucky. Friends have also been wonderful.
