A Boob Town - Springfield, VT?

Bizarrely, that is what's written in pencil on the back of this photo. I'm assuming it means boob in the sense of "rube".
On the front, in different handwriting, it says Ada G. [Grimshaw] Illingworth. Maybe one of her girls or husband added the title.
Ada often writes about this kind of fancy party in her diary. I assume this is Springfield, Vermont (Boob Town) but don't know the building.
