Memories of Ayr Depot (8) - 16 October 1985

Class 37 locomotive 37036.

Taken in the days when depots were many, usually had locomotives and when a courteous request to look round was usually met with a courteous and affirmative reply. Ayr Depot is a little to the south of Newton-on-Ayr station.

This is the eighth in a series of rediscovered photographs being scanned during lockdown and, I hope, bringing as much joy to those thus confined as they do to me.
