Stay At Home - 8 April 2020
Early in April 2020 as coronavirus restrictions gripped the UK and at about the time the Prime Minister himself was admitted to hospital, households received a letter and pamphlet from 10 Downing Street reinforcing the government's message. With no sign of an opportunity to ease restrictions and warm weather already in place, the long Easter weekend would, it seemed, be a trying time.

2020 was turning out to be a year like no other in my lifetime.

(Of course, I'm still waiting for the letter that classes me as highly vulnerable so that I can get a reference No. that I can input on some official website or other so that blasted Tesco may allot me, finally!, a delivery slot before the Solstice. :-) )
