Autumn Railbed

Shot on the railway of the Walkersville Southern Railroad, a heritage preservation society running tourist excursions (using the lightest possible engine and carriages! Note deteriorated crossties.) on a 7 mile (11km) restored section of bankrupt Pennsylvania Railroad track. Originally in the 1870's, developed by Frederick and Pennsylvania Railroad to haul lime, limestone, and fertilizer.
