The Forecast Was: Just A Few Snow Flurries

I only ask because we had a fashion in the UK in the 50s and 60s for half-timbering our cars for a time!!!
L. L. Wall club has replied to Andy Rodker clubCedar shingles (sometimes called "shakes") go on buildings, not cars/automobiles/vehicles ... yeah, I remember vehicles with wooden trim (later, metal painted to look like wood). Famously, those were the "woodie" station wagons used by surfers to carry their surfboards ... as put to music by The Beach Boys.
OK, in agreement: we are not that old; just trapped in a time-warp !! ...
It was a doozy of "a Weather Event" ..
Usually we get ice storms -- not this time... one could slice the county diagonally and we were on the side with 12 inches -- cross Harden Street .. they have 15 inches ~
Today is Sunday .. 16 Dec 2018 .. there is still some snow in yards.
Streets are fine .. but I didn't go out in it .. as much as I wanted to make a snow angel and build a Snow Bear !
