GTO?
What is the make and model, Wally? I don´t know my American cars at all!
L. L. Wall club has replied to Andy Rodker clubGoogle (still hated!!) says: "The name, which was DeLorean's idea, was inspired by the Ferrari 250 GTO, the successful race car. It is an Italian abbreviation for Gran Turismo Omologato, ("Grand Tourer Homologated") which means officially certified for racing in the Grand tourer class."
Jumbling the letters around, G-T-O becomes "goat", a common nickname for the 60's & 70's models. Powerful and fast, some people said GTO stood for GT Outlaw.
