Discarded Prospector Gear Still Litters "Trail of 98" ... (1898, that is)


This little duo (snapshots) is of an historic, but little visited place, where legions of gold prospectors made repeated trips over an arduous mountain pass, merely to get all their gear to the starting point of the trip to the Yukon goldfields. Many died, more gave up, a very few got rich.
