Randomly, about a quarter of my geo-tagged Pano photos (like this one) are now on mapsights.com without my authorization or knowledge ...
... and no, I did not copywrite nor name-imprint any of the photos I uploaded to Panoramio, relying on their protection instead ...
... (subsequently, I have heard from a big-gallery Pano user [New York/New Jersey] that 'Mapsights' is an API that Panoramio authorized a long time ago to use Pano shots ... don't know how reliable that info is) ...

L. L. Wall club has replied to polytropos clubThere is an Ipernity group called 'Panoramio Refugees - Forum' and in there was a discussion thread about 'mapsights' ... all in German (and Ipernity translate button does not work too well, so I only got an overview of what was said) ...

And Yes, the translator at Pano was better. Not really good, but better. The translator here sometimes has problems with the spaces for instance...
