I cannot understand that word and cannot find a translation, Nick. Help!

I should have written squawk (Which is a bird like noise that Heron's use when disturbed and flying off.

Squark is much the same by noisier however it is not the true meaning of the word :)

I found a lot of twin fences Nick ;) HFF!

Harry is a pretty tame Heron that allows people to get quite close. He used to be looked after and fed by a couple who lived on a canal boat moored close to here. The man died a few years ago and his widow and son moved the canal boat to somewhere else. So Harry now fishes for himself again ~~~ I'm glad that you found some fencing Tanja :~) Have a great weekend ~~~

Ive not been by lately sorry, have made a few comments, but mostly Mr O and I have been trying to get our yards back in order after hurricane Irma made her visit,.. she brought down a Maple tree in our front yard, and a million limbs, leaves, twigs ..!! Hi dear QofC ~ Yes I'm sorry that you have been suffering the aftermath of Irma ~ It has done so much damage ~ A little far for me to come to lend a hand, we suffered very strong winds many years ago that blew over thousands of trees in the South of England but it very rare for the wind to have that much strength over here. America's weather is far more extreme ~ Keep your chin up ~~ All the best to you & Mr O, plus a hug for you too ~~~~
