A seal at Porthgwarra

Hi Nick. A photo that at first glance, one skips past -probably because of the blurred rocks? However on closer inspection and seeing the title I an now hypnotised by the seal. Well seen and captured here.

Thanks Herb, it was all over before it really had begun :~) The seals were around for quite a time, but to get one on film was too much of a challenge for me :~)

Surfing seals ;) You´re blessed to see one....I´ve seen Dolphins at Connemara bay...that was more than beautiful to me ;)

Well, I've seen dolphins in Mounts Bay and basking sharks all round this coast in June. And of course seals in many places along the Cornish coast . But I've only ever got a few shots of seals - not very good. With the sharks and dolphins I wasn't taking photos in those days!

Great admiration for you getting this capture!
I've seen a few seals around, particularly in North Wales, and there is a colony on an island off the Norfolk coast, plus a few other dolphins / porpoises, etc. I guess if you live near the sea, fair chance you will see one.
However, what makes this special is that you have got a great action shot! Difficult to do in the zoo, but in the wild takes so much more! Excellent!!
