HFF from Silverstone ~ home of the British GP (F1)

I've lost the plot here, Nick. A brief 10 second spot on Spanish TV news and it was about the streets of London this year.
Anyway, I always preferred Brand's Hatch - enjoyed my visits in the 70s, James Hunt vs Nicki Lauda, etc!!

It was just a demo day around Trafalgar Square & meet the drivers sort of thing Andy, not a race.
Remember hunt the shunt races and all that. Never went to Brands Hatch though. Prefer to watch from the comfort of my sofa :~)

I bet you enjoyed Sunday's GP, Nick. We've been in Norfolk and Suffolk since Thursday, so belayed HFF. Adrian reckons that visiting a GP race in real life means long queues, high fees, lots of noise and very little to actually see. Far better viewing from your sofa. ;-)

Hi Peter ~ There is already an electric GP series and then we might get hydrogen powered engines or propane power engines so I guess there will always be car racing of one sort or another ~ All the best ~ Nick
