I've waited since last night to see your fence, Nick, and at last here it is. It seems that you could have been blown away. ;-)
Busy in the garden today, dead heading virtually all my roses, which is a shame as we have a village garden trail next Sunday. It's just been too hot and dry, and now it's cooler but still very dry, with a gusty wind - a bit like this photo.

A very good friend was taking her RYA day skippers exam on a very large yacht in the solent this very day and told me it was force five to six ~ exciting stuff. Sorry that your roses have suffered so ~ let us hope you get a couple of days rain this coming week that lifts things up in time for the village garden trail next weekend ~~~ fingers crossed xxx

Why (and what, for crying out loud!) would you want to bake anything in the temperatures you've been having!
However, as I believe temperatures have fallen to normal June levels now, you can get out your rolling pin and apron once again!
