Yes we have 360 degree views from the two balconies with water all around. We can see Fareham, Southampton water, the new forest, Cowes and the isle of wight, including Bembridge and Ryde. You can see all of the ocean cruise ships and liners moving through the Solent, whilst we directly overlook Portsmouth harbour, the navel dockyards, Southsea, Spice Island and a certain tower :~)

The GP was fun xxx

Very nice for the views. I thought you lived in Chalfont St Peter. Have you moved, Nick?
You probably said, ages ago, but my memory for such things is appalling!!! If so, apologies!

Welive most of the time in csp Andy, but I own this eagle's nest as well which has unique views, (See my reply to Amelia above) probably the best on all of the South Coast

Ah! I see, Nick! It's great to have such superb views.
3 years ago I had a small, cramped and rather seedy flat here in Madrid but it was on the 13th floor of a tower block with tremendous views and superb sunrises and sunsets. I have moved from one flat to another since then, always improving my living space and general standard of decor, etc but I lose the views more and more! Not sure which way round I prefer it!!!

I envy your view. I have always enjoyed visiting Portsmouth, from my days as a naval cadet in the CCF - HMS St Vincent & HMS Ariel, to quite a lot of visits over the last few years with assorted grandchildren. We had a year's family pass to the Historic Dockyard in 2017-18 and visited three times. We live just beyond Brighton and with a Senior Railcard and Southern's £2 child tickets fares are under £16, so great days out at a sensible cost.
On the most recent visit with my oldest grand-daughter we climbed to the top of Portchester Castle so we saw a rather distant version of your view. www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/48871170/in/album/499693

Hi Phil, The flat is at a location to die for with 360 degree views, we can see right down the Solent to Cowes, the beginning of Southampton Water, up Portsmouth Harbour and all the way to Fareham, Bembridge, and up the coast towards Chichester. Like you we have purchased anual tickets to the Dockyard and taken various visitors there too. Funnily enough I lived in Brighton for a few years too many moons ago.

All the best Nick
