Social Housing for Cats!!

Hello Peter well it certainly looks a ramshackle set of cat abodes but i am sure they are very pleased to have shelter .. and ones that will not blow away so easily looking at the blocks of stone to hold them in place .. it looks like the Seagul has landed here also :))

To answer your question, I had to carefully look through all the photos I took, and what I found is that the cat you can clearly see here is not the same as in the profile pic. However, the half cat you can see behind him is the one!

They are mad about cats in Istanbul. I saw many shopkeepers putting out food and milk for them.

There is an element of practicality to this, in that most people live in big apartment blocks, where they can't keep animals, so they befriend the strays!
