What a lovely picture. They had a 1940's weekend at Lacock, but unfortunately I had to miss it. I hope they do it again next year.
Best wishes,
Rosa.

Glad you like it.
They were a couple of professional singers (I think), certainly a great stage presence.
There will be more from the days outing...soon!
Best Wishes,
Peter

Thanks, Peter, for the memory of Vancouver Island that you shared with me...yes, the eagle-watchers did make their obvious gawping groups for sure! What I loved was that there are enough eagles flying around that we actually learned what calls they make and knew the bird was an eagle before seeing it...like we'd be walking on a trail, hear an eagle and THEN look up to see it flying by overhead! :) Really neat.
Have a lovely day my friend!

Of course the war was more memorable over here, and still in living memory of people. It is always a good reason to bring the vehicles, clothes, etc out of retirement, and join them up with a steam railway which was has gone unchanged for almost 100 years!
Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter
