Peter_Private_Box club has replied to tiabunna clubThank you very much!
I'm happy that you had a good look!!
I suspect the seats have been removed for a reason.... One can only speculate!
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead,
Peter
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Nick Weall clubThank you so much for your very kind visit.
I am so happy that you like the scene.
As for the seagull, maybe he is waiting for the next train to the tip!
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead,
Peter
I wonder why so many Police there? The seagull seems to be behaving! Many memories from my childhood of Weymouth Station, until my father got his first car. The chap who was teaching him used to come to Weymouth with us on Sundays ;-))
Best wishes,
Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneYour visit is most welcome. Thank you.
I'm happy that you had a good look!!
I suspect the number of police is something to do with
a) Summer Saturday evening at the seaside
b) this is when the seafood festival was on
c) A load of 'travelers' / Gypsies / Pik**s (or whatever you want o call them) had illegally camped in the park down the road
d) A possible influx of delinquent youths with backwards baseball caps and falling down trousers
I am pleased that this has brought back some nice memories.
My memories of railway stations relate to late teens, and catching the last train back home... after outings best not mentioned!
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead,
Peter
It is an interesting scene!
A great perspective of the station, lots of policeman, a guy who looks very busy! and a seagull !Maybe he looking for his friend...
I too wonder why so many Police there?
I think it is a populer season to visit Weymouth, and there are many tourist.. So need more security...
I like this kind of pictures which have some unknown stories!

I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
As to the police, there are a number of possibilities, as I said to Rosa.
I think the seagull is looking to steal some chips, or maybe fish and chips.. Or possibly waiting for a train to the tip, where he can join his friends..
But of course many nice people come here too!!!
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead,
Love Peter
