I;m sorry Peter but in my opinion this image is gross and surely must be highly offensive to many people. Perhaps I'm missing the point.

Hi Nick,

I am sorry, but perhaps you have missed the point a little.
This is one of 30 sculptures around the park. What it is meant to represent I have no idea. (There was no explanation). I tracked down the artists web site, (above), and there are a large number of figures in 'more conventional' pose. Perhaps she is a gymnast or something? Unfotunately there will be people who manage to see something which was never intended.
I am not passing any opinion as to if it is one thing or another, just recording what is there, so you can form your own opinion of the sculptor and his exhibition.

Thank you. As I said to Nick above, I have no idea what she is supposed to be or represent. You can judge for yourself, or ask the sculptor.
