The controller walks to check the points prior to the departure of the 11:30 train.

The locomotive is an 0-4-4-0 , number 99-1568-7, on the 750mm gauge Jöhstadt railway. Unusually, the two power bogies are 'back to back' with their cylinders in the middle of the locomotive.

That's one hour later...
You have caught the unusually scene carefully! ( the two power bogies are 'back to back' with their cylinders in the middle of the locomotive.)
Also it is a wonderful Picture!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to gezginruh clubThank you so much!! It is amazing how much the weather had changed in the hour. Snow!! I am sure that the controller is keen to keep his railway running, and walking purposefully towards the appointed place.
I am so pleased that you like this very unusual locomotive in this scene.
Love Peter

Winter is of course always nice for the photographer, because in the cold air the steam comes out much better. The chances in the Erzgebirge are quite good. Even if the museum train doesn't run that often, you can be lucky. But the last winter was difficult here too.
