Torre Picasso. I have given 100s of Business English classes there over the years.

I was intrigued by the white hemispheres, most of which seem to be incubating in their little yellow protective boxes (quite cute, really!).
But what will they be upon hatching, I wonder?

They're art, Andy. You're supposed to be intrigued.

Sorry to disappoint, Roland but I have been reliably informed that they are bollards which weren't easily visible in some light. Motorbikes can park down to the left and some used to ride straight into them on this side, so they were encased in bright yellow boxes.
It may be so ... but I prefer my version!

It is imperial on the background of this beautiful, expressive sky. Super!

We're cautiously waiting for the next episode of the series of these half-buried eggs!

Careful! You remember what happens when you put your face above these eggs, don't you?

No, I don't. Was it in a film?
Sorry to disapoint. This is my reply to similar understandable comments, Nicolas:

I see in your profile that you are not a film buff, so I suppose that you missed the film Alien (1979) and its sequels. If you Google "alien egg pod" you will see why your photo and your caption elicited a few comments similar to mine :)

Late reply, sorry! Yes of course I saw aliens and a fine film it was. But I didn't see any sequels!

An interesting structure.........from this perspective it seems there are no windows! As has been said though, it does look pretty spectacular against the blue sky.

As to the white spheres............it's obvious that they're spare shades for the street lights :-))

Nicely taken Andy!

All rooms are the same throughout the building (so bosses and junior clerks work in similar sized rooms, all very egalitarian). All have massive windows!
Thank you Keith,
The building was constructed in the mid 80s but seems more modern to me.
About the spheres; this is my reply to the comments of others:

I also prefer your version ha ha ha. I understand that this building was the first with anti-earthquake technology in Spain.

Andy Rodker club has replied to Anton Cruz Carro club
No I didn't know that, Anton. Madrid doesn't get many earthquakes but when it does they tend to be big, There have been some large ones in historic times, the last biggie being in 1735.
