I have taught there on several occasions (Santander, Fnac, but Orange mainly).
Behind this business park is the most exclusive private residential estate in Madrid, also called La Finca; Gareth Bale lives there, in a house he rents from Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo did until a year or so ago and I taught English to an aspiring actress there - Daddy made a lot of money in Music Publishing).

The Farm?? At least "finca" is "farm" in Costa Rica--

Yes I must admit that I find Madrid is an extremely clean and tidy city, judging by your photos. I do like the building with windows covering the whole side of it, it reflects the scene around them, and it gives the impression that they are all one picture

Unfortunately not so since the start of the pandemic as the city's cleaners have been on strike, on and off, complaining about lack of protection for them seeing as they are daily exposed to risk. I can't say I blame them!
However, somewhere in the heads of many dog-owners there has firmly lodged the belief that it is no longer necessary to clean up after their precious mutts. And these people, I most certainly DO blame!

No, not really. It was some way out of town and on the opposite side of Madrid from where I then lived. And because travel time is dead time (we only get paid for the hours we teach), it was a pain to go there, frankly!

Sorry about the migraine! I am sometimes dillatory due to tiredness from anaemia. But I get another haemoglobin transfusion soon so should be as bright as a button! (for anothe 6 weeks or so!)

I have prescription tablets for the migraine Andy but have to catch it early to stop it lasting 3 days.
