From my sister's. A stormy day.

Taken by my sister. Well done Sis! Is that a lightning strike? I think it might well be!
I have another to post in the next day or two.
That incredibly stormy day for much of Spain, August 26, Valderrey, Algete, Madrid Province.

Wow that does look as if there is going to be really bad weather on the horizon. You can sort of see the rain falling down from the clouds in places.

It was a disastrous storm for parts of the Madrid area, Jenny. My sister was lucky here, only minor flooding and the hailstones were big but didn't shatter anything. And I only had 2 brief storms and a half tornado (it looked like it was going to become one but it shrivelled up and vanished back into the mother-cloud from whence it had been spawned, before doing any damage). Other parts of Spain weren't so lucky!
