Typical Sierra de La Cabrera granite scenery

Typical Sierra de La Cabrera granite scenery
Precarious granite boulders, encina (holm oak) and blue sky - comprise the typicity of La Sierra de La Cabrera. My path goes serenely past the rock on the left and under the overhanging branches! An idyllic stroll!

Now I've read your comment about this view, I can understand the scale of this area better. I thought those boulders were small, but you say that you stroll underneath the tree - a whole lot bigger that I first imagined

Because I know the place so well, I forget that scale isn't always obvious to others who don't know it! Thank you, Jenny!

Like Jenny, I assumed that the trees were actually smallish shrubs among the rocks! I know know better..............and I should have read your narrative first!

A beautiful shot Andy!
