Zennor parish from Carn Galva, and L to R the three hamlets / farms of Bosigran, Porthmeor and Treen (Gurnard's Head). The mist (sea fret or just fret around here), either comes at you very visibly in a white-out or creeps up on you unawares such as here.

Yes sea mist/fog has a nasty habit of creeping around you, til you have time to avoid it, or else switch all your lights on so you can read any intructions for going anywhere!!!

Actually I've been very lucky these past 20 years or so, Jenny. Only a few occasions with sea fret! I remember as a child, weeks of the stuff hanging around.
