Convento monasterio de San Julian y San Antonio, encina (a very hardy holm oak) in the foreground and Cancho Largo, the highest point in La Sierra de La Cabrera on the horizon. Granite everywhere! Another very cold winter's day despite appearances! Suggest better on large.

Precarious granite boulders, encina (holm oak) and blue sky - comprise the typicity of La Sierra de La Cabrera. My path goes serenely past the rock on the left and under the overhanging branches! An idyllic stroll!

In the first 18 months I was in Spain, I couldn't find a cloud for love nor money, hence the sameness of many of my Sierra photos from that time. Therefore I was delighted to spot these two tiny clouds in the distance! I didn't have an editing tool at the time, but it is possible I edited this later. The presence of a small photoframe indicates that I probably did so.
