... In the middle of a fierce thunderstorm and hail storm(s) tonight - following on from a week of 40C + temps. Something had to give and it will be a relief if we get a reduction in the temps. At the moment, no chance! So I can't sleep and will take the opportunity to do a bit of ipernity catching up!

Hello Andy. That would be too hot for me!!! It was pretty hot here on Saturday but temperatures at the moment are pretty manageable. I'm not too keen on thunderstorms or hail but we could do with some sustained water here 'cos the gardens are getting very dry! Looks like Thursday is going to be good here so I am expecting to be in Oxford with my camera :-) Hope you can get some sleep sometime soon.
