St Agnes Head, for Pam.

It is a fun and fairly easy walk down the steep slope, from right to left, to the headland. It's a bit of a slog on the way back though! (Although far worse for me when I used to smoke!).

A lovely photo of the cliffs with the heather and gorse. It doesn't look all that easy to stroll down the headland - and certainly looks hard work coming back up!

Well, it was a long time ago, Jeff and in truth I had almost forgotten I ever smoked. It's only when I climb a mountain today that I really notice the difference! I have far more puff, despite being 20 years older and despite serious illness 2 to 3 years ago, than I ever had when I smoked!
I certainly wouldn't have been scrambling over the Sierra de La Cabrera as I have done these past 8 years or so, with the same abandon, had I still been smoking!
My next mission is to get my girlfriend off the evil habit!
