Granite, along the ridge.
Although the walking here is not technically difficult, care is needed when choosing a route to follow as you could easily find yourself stuck over a precipice with a tricky manoeuvre to reverse out of it as I have found on a couple of occasions!

Andy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre clubI'm amused that you ask me every time I post one from here. Yes, near is relative. It's not 10 minutes form my door. But it is just about right. Far enough away to deter day trippers but near enough to the capital to allow a good day out in the mountains!
