Yes, but it has its charms (and is a positive riot of greenery and spring flowers) if you choose your visit carefully!

... an eye-catching shot (found in IP Group "Interesting Views) ... but more than just "interesting"; great landscapes from foreground to far snowy mountains (little village down there too) ... the shadows on The Needles are a dramatic element ...

This is my favourite walking country, you won't be surprised to hear, Wally! The Sierra de La Cabrera rises up behind me and extends in a sharp jagged edge for only 10 or so kilometres but in dranamatic fashion. Cornwall has the same granite terrain on a lower level generally but has the added advantage of the sea!!
