Sierra de La Cabrera

Sierra de La Cabrera
Not much snow up to that time and the going was easy. A view along the gentler northern slopes of the sierra and the Lozoya Valley.

Thank you, Jenny.
I have to admit that I'm amazingly lucky in this regard. I live in Madrid for 50 weeks in the year, only about 20 miles away from fabulous country such as this, and my 2 weeks off are ... in Cornwall!

The blue toning (and the snow) makes it look really cold there, despite the sunshine. It's certainly a cracking view from up there! I really like the two silhouetted trees. Nicely done Andy!

Thank you, Keith. Yes, it gets very cold indeed on the plateau of Central Spain and even more so on the Sierras that rise above it. The words monkeys and brass always spring to mind on these walks!
