Wonderful photo, Andy! The water looks very clear and I love the ripples as well as the rocks. The one on top seems to have dark blue layers inside. Never seen this before. It's amazing!

I don't know what this rock is, Anne. I wish I did. But at this beach there is a complete mish- mash of geological forms and rock types. Almost the only one missing is granite!

... so well seen and captured ... cruising your gallery, the water surface certainly caught my eye ... and the rock formations: blue above, and the white streaked gray in the foreground -- I wonder if a geologist would find them intriguing of mundane ...

The only people I see in places like this are locals who know where the paths are and who walk their dogs and geology students!
I have had requests from geology students to use my photos. Of course I acquiesce!
