They look pretty when flowering! I wonder whether you can just pick one when they are ripe..;-)

I'm sure it is strictly forbidden and I am equally sure that the fruit is stripped form the tree as soon as it is ripe. This is Spain after all! :o)

I still have never tried a pomegranate! Nice tree :)

I think you should, Rosa. They are very pleasant. You will need a teaspoon.
However they aren't the most exciting of fruit to eat imho (all those pips): even if they joined the super-food ranks a few years ago alongside kale and avos, that kind of thing. I much prefer them in their un-eaten state, in the fruit bowl or just on the kitchen table. But best of all is the blossom on the tree just as the fruitlets are beginning to set and swell!

It's the pips that put me off Andy!
