I'm sure you're right, Gudrun ... but ... you will have to explain, please!

I have never flown Ryanair but have read that the stewardesses are under pressure to sell as many scratch cards to passengers as they can.

I never knew that, Gudrun! I never noticed on my few flights with them, but then I don't have much idea what a scratch card is. I think I know what they look like and I heard people buying them in shops when I lived in England. They don't exist, as far as I know, in Spain. I think it has something to do with gambling. I have a few vices but gambling is not one of them and I am a virgin when it comes to this kind of thing, I have never in my life bought a lottery ticket!
I tell a lie. I was in a short lived syndicate at work when the National Lottery started in Britain a while ago. I left the firm shortly after and so I rapidly lost any connection with it.
